Dormer window? Don’t despair!

Roman blinds are an obvious answer to to the well known phrase: “what shall I do with a dormer window?” But in a light starved room, even romans can keep out too much light. Take a look at the pictures on this site and you will see Fabric Covered Shutters. These are wooden frames, made exactly to fit your window, then upholstered in the fabric of your choice. When shut, they can give a very good blackout…when open, the room will be flooded with light.

I want to thank you for all of your work in completeley transforming our house. When we first contacted you, I confess that I had little idea as to what I specifically wanted, only that I wanted to move away from “standard” beige walls. I wanted someone to say “Trust me, I know exactly what to do” – which was a very tall order given that we didn’t know what we wanted to do ourselves!

You proved to be fantastic. As you know, there is not one single room in the house that was left unchanged and I love everything that you have done. You have been bold where I would have never dared to be and the result is a fantastically coordinated, bright, elegant, and most importantly, appropriate and sympathetic makeover, entirely in keeping with the character of the house. Honestly, I think you have done a wonderful,extremely professional job and I would be delighted to recommend you to anyone.

I love the way you just took the entire concept and sorted absolutely everything – your project management skills are first rate.
